ACT I
INT. HOMEY APARTMENT, LOS ANGELES - NIGHT
We open on a young Italian married man preparing dinner for his brother and sister-in-law. DOORBELL. The Italian opens the door to find his sister-in-law staring at him in awe. A cool winter breeze causes her white gown to sway in the moonlight. She looks like an apparition. "I see a blonde child hovering over your head," she whispers. "He's wondering what's taking so long." This is odd since neither the Italian nor his wife are blonde. Soon after, the Italian gets divorced and meets a beautiful blonde receptionist.
After four years of almost unsuccessful attempts at getting pregnant with a previous husband, the receptionist is told that she will never conceive again. That's why it's a surprise when we...

CUT BACK TO:
INT. CLEAN ROOM, SAN DIEGO - NIGHT
Nick snaps awake in the middle of the night. He now knows what he must do. But he hesitates. He is afraid. What if he's not good enough? What if he doesn't have what it takes? He looks at himself in the mirror. "Bologna!" He applies to film school.
EXT. CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY STADIUM - SUNSET
Nick sits in his graduation robes and a bow tie next to his closest
friends. Tony Bill speaks to the next generation of filmmakers: "Work hard. Be humble. Write your thank you cards by hand. Listen to your gut." The energy is electric. He now has the skills, knowledge, and experience to make that feature film in his dream. All he needs is an idea. Luckily for him, he's got seven ideas, just in case.
ACT II
The second act has not been written yet. Keep watching to see what happens next. The suspense is killing me.
STATEMENT
The more films I make, the more I realize that there is a fine line between art and entertainment. Film is a business. At what point do I stop making art that is meaningful to me and start making entertainment for others that can make a profit? This has always been my struggle. But I believe that good art is BOTH meaningful and entertaining.
It is my ultimate goal to direct feature films that play in theatres around the world and that can both communicate my ideas and entertain others. I want to sell remedies of love and hope with fun packaging. If an audience member can walk out of a theatre after having just finished one of my films with a smile on his/her face and a new perspective on the world, I can die a happy man. But unti then, I will work my butt off. Love is contagious... I want to infect others.
